Upstate Becoming Must Stop for Food Tourists

Check out  http://www.democratandchronicle.com/article/20130501/LIVINGHERE/305010005/Upstate-becoming-must-stop-food-tourists this story from the Rochester newspaper.

It reinforces what many people in Central New York have known for ages -- some of the best food on the planet is grown right here.

Where else can you find:

** Wine trails
** A cheese trail
** Farmers markets everywhere
** Beautiful rolling hills and flatlands covered with fields filled with produce and/or animals
** Two of the best ag colleges around and another with a great equine program (Cornell, Morrisville State College and Cazenovia College)
** An area working hard to bring back its first prime crop -- hops
** A county (Oswego) that boasts its own brand -- New York Bold onions.
** Christmas trees, maple syrup and honey made right here.

Should I go on?
