You Think Whole Milk is Bad for You? Read This

Great story.

I've known this for years, but so many consumers don't. They won't buy "whole" milk because they think it's loaded with fat. In fact, whole has only a little bit more fat than 2 percent and 1 percent.

NPR Story on Whole Milk Keeping Us Lean

I have never been able to understand this whole milk, lowfat milk, nonfat milk discussion.

And now NPR http://www.npr.org/blogs/thesalt/2014/02/12/275376259/the-full-fat-paradox-whole-milk-may-keep-us-lean is putting it into perspective. Some people don't drink whole milk because of the fat, but instead drink 2 percent or 1 percent, that really isn't that much different.

Whole milk has 3.25 percent fat, while 2 percent has, well, 2 percent and so on. Not much of a difference, really.
