Idaho Edges Out NY in Milk Production in 2014

Idaho edged out New York for third largest milk producing state in 2014, according to US Department of Agriculture figures.

Idaho farmers produced 100 million pounds more of milk than New York producers -- 13,873 million pounds versus 13,733 million pounds.

The two states have been bouncing back and forth between third and fourth places for the past few years.
